project.4 FOODHALL koya Previous Next Food hall "eka" that conveys the charm of Koya's traditional crafts Space design / 2021 / KOYASAN Koyasan has given birth to numerous ideas over the 1,200 years since its founding. Here, there is a culture of religion and lifestyle nurtured by monks and people who support each other. However, due to the progress of aging and depopulation, there is a shortage of people who inherit Buddhism and the traditional crafts that support it. I want to protect the living culture that has been handed down from generation to generation by "craftsmen who do exquisite handwork", which has become a rare existence. Therefore, we will use a part of the Koyasan University building, which is biased toward single-function services and is a space separated from the townscape, to create a space where craftsmen who are involved in the inheritance of traditional crafts, food, and forestry will be responsible for the future of the region. We propose the creation of a platform that connects children and contributes to the development of successors to traditional industries. Specifically, the goal is to set up a “manufacturing studio” where children and craftsmen can foster their creativity together, and to create a foundation for new businesses and indigenous entrepreneurs centered on them. In order to create a communicative space in which all kinds of people, including pilgrims and residents, can easily enter the building as they walk through the town and enjoy conversations and discussions as they please, there will be a theater where pilgrims can learn about the traditional industries of Koyasan. , We have a book cafe that will also be a place for children. Kindai University Architectural Planning Lab. Purpose 人口減少が進む現代において、地域社会の持続可能性と活性化を支えるための「新たな建築計画」のあり方を模索することを目的としています。この目的の下、以下の5つのテーマに焦点を当てて研究を進めます。 ​ ​ 1 コミュニティデザインの アクションリサーチ ​ 主に和歌山県高野町（世界遺産の高野山金剛峯寺を擁する町）を対象に、地域コミュニティを活性化させる実践的研究を行っています。この研究では、行政・地域住民と協力しながら、コミュニティの形成と維持に必要な手法を模索しています。 ​ ​ 2 住居・施設・まちの フィールドワーク ​ 実際の住居や施設、そして地域に関するフィールドワークを行います。これにより、地域特有の問題やニーズを分析し、将来的には、それに応じた建築計画・地域計画の策定を目指します。 ​ ​ 3 当事者による 場づくり の研究 ​ 千里ニュータウンでの場づくり、本による場づくり、無人駅の活用など、具体的な事例を通じて、地域住民自身が主体となる場づくりのプロセスと効果を研究します。これにより、地域コミュニティの自律性と持続可能性を高める方法を探ります。 ​ ​ 4 関係人口に関する研究 ​ 和歌山県高野町、福岡県うきは市、高知県四万十市、宮城県気仙沼市を対象に、地域外からの関係人口を取り込むことで、地域の持続可能性をどのように高めることができるかを研究します。これにより、人口減少に直面する多くの地域にとって役立つ洞察を提供することを目指します。 ​ ​ 5 環境行動の研究、建築家の設計分析、 建築計画の歴史研究など ​ これらは、建築と社会の関係性を深く理解するための研究テーマです。環境行動の研究では、ウェルビーイングな暮らしを送る上で理想的な環境を人間行動との関連性から探ります。また、建築家の設計分析や建築計画の歴史研究を通じて、建築の社会的役割とその変遷を探求します。
